A.G - The NYPUM Program for me was one of my favorite Experiences and was definitely one of the most beneficial that I have gone through. I will admit that in the beginning I wasn't the most responsible and didn't have a great mindset. This program helped me Get into a mindset that was going to get me further in life all the while it was giving me something to look forward to. This program isn't just one that allows you to have fun it is also one that helps form you into a better person. Riding dirt bikes was a really good distraction that helped end most of my bad habits and really got me farther than I would have expected. It's a really welcoming program and one that understands all sides of the story and is willing to help. If you have troubles and you just can't seem to distract yourself from the boredom then this program is a fantastic option for you. The Pueblo Mentoring Collaborative serves as a community-wide mentoring referral clearinghouse in Pueblo, CO, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to send youth in search of mentors to Southern Colorado Youth Development (SCYD). Mike Riley and his staff cultivate a culture of empowerment by providing impactful programming in a nurturing environment built on trust. SCYD has demonstrated countless times the value of mentoring and how being consistent and demonstrating compassion make a tremendous impact on young people and ultimately, our community.

My son was a part of the SCYD program 5 years ago. You were our home therapist and also our nypum director. You were amazing to my family. We have been in therapy for over 15 years. You were the first person to break threw to my son. You and your team inspired him included him and taught him all about dirt bikes! He still loves you till this day as do me and my other son's. After 5 years you continue to be a major support for my family. My fingers are crossed that the nypum program is given everything they need to be successful and mike i hope you never give up on this dream! You truly are saving so many children and families..
